“We think that the point is to pass the test or overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don't really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It's just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.”

I keep trying to write. Things keep falling apart. In the midst of the 3 deaths of my people and 2 natural disasters in 3 months I devote time to the aspects of impermanence, patience and just plain hanging on. This seems a perfect reflection of where we are as a Nation. As soon as I get settled in a more permanent living place I look so forward to reconnecting with you. Survival is time consuming!
I miss writing. I miss writing and connecting in this format. Meanwhile I recommend Dr. Heather Cox Richardson as the sanest and learned voice in America today. Her podcasts are not only informative but soothing.
We all have the immense opportunity to rescue our America. We have the sacred responsibility to support and uplift each other. This is our moment in the 250-year history of Paul Revere’s ride. This is our ride. This is where America wakes up, stands up and says not in my Democracy.
Talk with you soon.
We will prevail.
